Famille-rose enamels on translucent glass; with a flat lip and flat foot; painted with a continuous garden scene with three butterflies flying above flowering orchids and asters, the neck with a band of double-unit leiwen (‘thunder pattern’) from which a series of bejewelled chains link to registers of flower heads
