Imperial Blessings

Famille rose enamels on copper, with gold; with a flat lip, slightly concave foot, and flat foot rim; painted with a formalized design repeated on each main side of a bat and an Indian lotus above and below a shou (‘longevity’) character written in seal script, set amidst a formalized floral design framed between base and neck borders of formalized lotus petals, the base inscribed in regular script Yongzheng nian zhi 雍正年製 (‘Made in the Yongzheng era’); the interior enamelled white, the exterior exposed metal with traces of original gilding

Stopper: gilt-bronze, chased with a formalized floral design (made from half a garment button)
